    Ron, I agree with you 150%. I’m a proactive tax accountant and specialized in real estate. You don’t need a CPA to file taxes but the license allows them to represent clients with IRS three main things compilations, review and audit. Annually we have requirements to abide and have to continued education credits. Staying on top of regs/tax law updates is not easy. Taxpayers make a lot of mistakes using software and later they get hit with a big tax bill. Analogy…Would you extract a tooth or just visit a dentist?.
