It reminds me of trips every Sunday to my grandparents house where they had a checken coop out back too.
We had chicken every Sunday.
I never forget when my grandfather took me out to the chicken coop for the first time to get a chicken to eat one Sunday.
It was a rooster that we ate that Sunday.
We had him with fresh homemade ice cream and freshly picked red rasberries.

I collected lots of eggs from that hen house.
The chickens actually were able to run around on the ground and eat bugs.
I’ve never tasted better eggs than from grandparents farm raised chickens.
Store bought eggs from chickens that live in cages and never see the ground and don’t get to eat bugs aren’t even close to the real thing.
