A Message From Barbara LeGrand Cockrell

Dear Ron,

It breaks my heart that I have to even type out this email. As you all know, Jim Huntress, my life partner, my soulmate, and my best friend was the reason I started this website and newsletter. We wanted to share and spread the power of holistic care and how it can improve quality of life. We beat cancer once, but Jim got diagnosed a second time with a rare and aggressive soft tissue sarcoma tumor that rapidly spread throughout his lungs. We were shocked and heartbroken how fast it took his life despite all the efforts of us and so many others. My Jim has received his angel wings and is with God now. We will have his celebration of life on June 29, 2019.

Jim was a very private person and he didn’t want his business on social media. He never wanted to be in the limelight, and never wanted to speak anything negative or give cancer any power over him by talking about it. In fact, he didn’t really acknowledge it, refused to give “C” a name. He just kept believing he would be healed and fought until the very end, still refusing to say he would not be healed.

But the following is what Jim texted me on March 2nd at 3:23 PM: “Alright dear, I surrender. On the website http://www.CompleteHealthyLife.com, start a storyline on our latest little cancer episode. We can mention what I’m doing to treat this naturally.” I guess I didn’t want to believe or speak it into existence either, so that’s where I find myself writing this now. I am devastated.

Some of you may be asking, where’s the victory in this since he died? I think the victory is trusting in God no matter what. We don’t have all the answers and our lives ultimately are not in our control. We strive to do our best, we strive to stay healthy, we strive to make our body, our minds, and our spirits the best they can be. But ultimately God is in control. He is the great physician and the great provider. We have to trust that good things will happen and His timing is perfect.

We will always grieve, I know I am. There is no “getting over it”. God never promised us that we wouldn’t have pain. He just promised to see us through it. We must turn our sorrows into love, and pour that out onto others.

Healing begins by being thankful for what we do have, and seeing the beauty in everything around us. Our time on earth is short and when tragedy happens it’s a time we can reflect on and reassess what is truly important to us. Too often we find ourselves living a reactive life and reacting to every “to do” list that comes our way instead of purposely creating what we really want out of life with the time we have left.

My Jim lived his life to it’s fullest and has had more adventures than most of us have in 3 lifetimes. I want that for you. We all should strive to live as healthy and pain-free as possible. Wealth is great but my guess is when your life is at stake you only have one wish, and that is health.

Through the lifestyle changes we have made my health has radically improved. Caring for him and trying to help heal him has consumed my time and focus and I have neglected to reveal the impact of how this alternative knowledge and massive action has improved my physical, mental, and spiritual state.

I feel as though my purpose is to continue perpetuating the truth, to keep spreading knowledge and empowerment to those who are suffering or just need the information to prevent disease from happening, since the statistics show that one in three people now have cancer, not to mention the myriad of other health problems.

I am reaching out to ask for help for I can’t do this alone. I have set up a GoFundMe account in memory of my beloved Jim, to be used to continue our vision of empowering so many more and to help prevent and overcome diseases in their life. Perhaps a part of his legacy is where this begins. So many people have been put in Jim’s and myself’s path in the last year that I’m trusting God great things will come of it. My obedience is putting the word out there and making a start. It feels like the right timing to start a center of healing. It’s time I turn it over to God to ask that He do far more than I could expect or imagine. I don’t have all the answers yet; just trying to be obedient as they are revealed. So no amount is too little or too large to donate.

Thank you to all who have been on this journey with me and for sharing how this website http://www.CompleteHealthyLife.com and the free newsletters have improved your health, renewed your spirit, given you hope, and increased your knowledge to have a better life for you and your loved ones.

Thank you for helping me keep Jim’s wonderful spirit alive. With your help we can continue to spread the word and help so many more people on a deeper level. It means more to me than you’ll ever know. If you would like to give in faith and be a part of this endeavor, click on the link here.

Praying God’s blessings upon each and every one of you!

With more purpose than ever,

Barbara LeGrand Cockrell
