Millionaire in the Making – Jack & Debbie Knapp

OK, so how can I describe the incredible pressure that is placed upon me (mostly by myself) knowing that I have to submit a WRITTEN report to my mentor EVERY WEEK?  As if that were not enough, then I have to CALL them on the phone and TALK to them about my successes and failures (which up to this point have almost all been failures…there have been minor successes…no offers nor contracts yet, though). I mean the pressure is like I am living in a glass house with a microscope over every move I make (or in my case don’t make) each moment of each day.

I mean…. OK, I can see how this can easily be a part time business, but even with that “part time” I have to BE WORKING ON THE BUSINESS. Instead, I find myself just “pretending to be busy” working on the business. I sit down at the computer and log into the Gold Club and watch a video, or print out a contract “to review”. All this stuff is good and important to do, BUT IT PUTS NO COIN IN MY POCKET, so unless I am out writing contracts and lining up buyers, I HAVE NO BUSINESS!!!

The Iannotti’s are killing me with the pressure of the weekly reports as well as the weekly phone call…THIS IS GREAT and WHAT I HAVE BEEN NEEDING!!!!

Thank you Ron for setting up the Mentoring and to the Iannotti’s for being willing to “kick me in the seat of my overalls” to MAKE ME WORK THE PROGRAM!!!!!

Great wisdom here. An accountability partner is invaluable when it comes to busting through procrastination and getting on the road to success. Ron’s mentoring program hold’s you accountable!

  2. Debbie Magar says:

That’s my problem too doing everything but making the calls. Fear wins too often. And only kidding myself that I’m really doing something.

Stop the Dream(y)ing and call the sellers. I will too. We will proceed together. Especially since you have a mentor, it is good that they are pushing.

  3. Reiko McKendry says:

Oh, my goodness, my sentiment, too, exactly! If time used to fly at 100 mph, now it’s flying at double the speed. Because of our circumstance, failure is absolutely not an option. The unbelievable level of pressure is on. And our mentors, Brian and Lynette Wolff, are over-the-top fantastic as well!!

  4. Tom Burke says:

I too feel the pressure and question myself on progress. But I do feel I’m slowly making headway and don’t want to disappoint myself or the Wolff’s who are great mentors. Find the deals and write offers for the cha ching, cha ching as Lynette says. Do’t give up.

  5. Ron Caruthers says:

Love the lesson and the comments. So true that having someone to be accountable to that will call BS on how you use your time is a great motivator.
It’s the same as keeping an accurate time log will really show where your time is getting spent (and wasted).
Looking forward to hearing about your future successes.

  6. Eric Murphy says:

creative avoidance is a real problem for me…i must pull the trigger, as Ron says. Thanks for sharing your struggle…former struggle. Much success to ya!

  7. Robert Straker says:

Hello Jack & Debbie, thanks for the success story! It is very inspiring and well worth reading about. Sorry to read about the over motivation along with the stress and pressure. The Your determination, focus and dedication is really something else! Keep up the good work.
