This photo was placed on Facebook by Phyllis Rockower. It’s from the third boot camp in 1992, located in Fort Lauderdale. We went into one house loaded with fleas and everyone ran to the road picking them off our legs! We’ll post that picture if someone in this photograph submits the photo.
I recognize a few folks in this picture such as Phyllis Curtis who has always been a strong supporter and friend who brings homemade coconut bread every time I see her, even 20 years later. Note my hair color and trim figure. I see several more familiar faces who’ve been coming back for years, but I’m embarrassed to say I can’t put a name on most of them. The two Phyllis’s haven’t aged a day. FYI, Phyllis Rockower went on to help her son, Bill Bronchik, start his Denver REIA and then moved to L.A. to start her own that still thrives today through all the real estate cycles. I’ll be speaking for her, Steve and Robyn Love on May 17th, who are also long term allies.
