Hello Barbara,

I have finished the third of twenty-four half hour telephone discussions/instructions with you, my mentor. After last week’s call, I reflected on you as a mentor, and Ron’s Gold Club, and the mentorship program. You were ready that day to make calls with me to sellers and get a deal done. You stressed to me in a firm confident way that deals can be done. You stressed that I must get leads to the VAs; that I must practice making the calls with a partner, record and critique the calls, then repeat them until they are perfect. It became clear to me that you are an experienced real estate investor; that you have “been there and done that” many times; and, that you are a real pro, the ideal mentor.

I have been developing forms and administrative procedures to manage this business. During that process, I looked at the videos that Jasmine sent regarding the Dreams system and Bingo! Its all there. I was wasting my time.

Finally, I compare this Mentorship program to my experience at Dade County’s Metrobus as the operations manager. The prerequisite for each new bus operator was/is a valid Florida Driver License.

After meeting other requirements we hired them, then trained them. We taught them how to drive. We taught them how to drive our buses, our way. Even if they drove whatever replaced stage coaches up to today’s train-like (articulated) buses, when they came to work at Metrobus they went into our six weeks of bus operations training.  The last week of training was with an experienced Metrobus operator on her/his route, in revenue service. The parallels abound. This was/is Metrobus’ Mentorship program.

I am now standing on the bank of a raging river, trying to get to the other side, so to speak. I don’t have to “ask Markum.” I don’t have to try to figure it out alone. I am confident that Barbara, my mentor, will guide me to the other side; without walking on the water, or even parting the waters. I will get my feet wet, but that’s the point. It’s called experience. I will always recommend the whole Ron LeGrand Gold Club program without reservation. It is a continuing job well done.
