Coming into Ron’s planet, I signed up for mentorship and was assigned to Barbara LeGrand Cockrell. I hardly look back and always put the past behind me, but I have to reflect on the past mentorship programs I have done and can say that this is the best I have experienced and got the result as proof that it worked. I only wish it would be longer.
Under her mentorship, I was able to get my first deal under contract and am now in the closing process. Having it all laid out in Ron’s blueprint and in his teaching, I still needed the guidance and expertise from my mentor. Watching her use the different techniques in talking to sellers and ways of structuring the deal was very important to me, especially when the end result was a win-win for both buyer and seller.
For me, having a mentor is similar to having an advocate that’s on your side. I ran into an issue with the title company and the closing attorney, and Barbara stepped in and called the closing attorney to settle the matter. I now have signed the fee agreement and hope to close as soon as possible.
I learned a lot from Barbara, especially in the Pretty House business, and I am hoping to get my next deal very soon.
Thank you and God bless!!
Congratulations Olive! Good job!
