This week’s featured student is Victoria Ilieva, a student that has just recently finalized a rehab deal on a purchased in October 2020.
I used to be healthy and now I am getting sick. The first picture is 12 years ago and the second one is me now. That is how I looked when I was healthy and doing the right thing. Now I look older, scared, and not healthy, full of self-doubt.
I allowed the surrounding environment to get my spirits down. I have to be vigilant; there is also a passage in the Bible about being vigilant. I allowed people and my environment to pull me down.
Don’t allow your environment (which you can’t change) and people to destroy the good things around you when you can change yourself. I allowed meat and beer daily to change my good habits. Don’t allow that man you admire to pull you down either. You think you are getting a benefit and you don’t.
Every problem is a blessing. It forces you to go to the root of the problem and that is the only way you move forward. I had to get to the root of my problem.
Barbara, you helped me to do just that!
This is my 1st success and I consider it a big win. It’s about changing my mental state & attitude. Thank God, but also thanks to Barbara, (my Real Estate mentor), I changed the way I view my health issues as a result of my life style (had a bleeding ulcer, it is very painful, makes me dizzy & forgetful). She shared her life battles & I realized – my problems are not as big as what Barbara went through.
So, the 1st step to change my health situation was to take full responsibility for my bad health situation. I have changed over the years – when I was young, I used to do yoga every day, eat mostly vegetarian (light meat or fish once a week), had a lot of stamina & energy working long hours on a computer as a graphic designer. I am not sure how little by little I stopped doing yoga, started eating meat (the bad influence of people I was surrounded with).
Barbara did NOT talk me into changing my diet or lifestyle – she just shared her life-story with me. I was so touched. I decided to try being a full vegan for one week, even though I was still on 2 types of antibiotic taken simultaneously. It immediately improved my situation. The bleeding stopped, but still had other inflammation issues, pain in my liver. Continued with being a vegan and decided NOT to stay in bed (though I still had some pain & felt very tired). I just got out of the house & got back to work with reduced hours to mobilize myself. The bad coughing stopped as well. After the results from my MRI test & blood work came back the doctor was happy to announce that I did not have cancer, as he feared. All these inflammations, bleeding ulcers were the result of my poor mental & physical state.
After learning more about Barbara’s lifestyle from her website, CompleteHealthyLife.com, I am fully convinced God sent her to be my business mentor. I am so lucky!
This is not just about making money with Real Estate – it is about taking full responsibility for everything – health, business, finances, relationships with customers, building rapport, but mostly learning about what I am not doing right that leads to my own problems. I am still working on my mental state & attitude, still not focused (partly it’s the health), still self-sabotaging & fearful, must seriously work on my faith and eliminate fear, self-doubt… You have helped me and that is not a small thing. Getting my physical state in order changes my emotional state and changes the way I think. You have put happiness in my life.
Thank you so much Barbara for your kindness, patience, I hope you have faith in me. I just know, you showed me the right path!
I treasure every minute I am on the call with you, you motivate me. You are doing something that God loves.
I too am a vegan and became one because of health reasons (proactive, not reactive). Thanks for sharing your story and her website. I immediately went to it and subscribed to her channel.
Blessings to you!
