100%! I’ve always been in the mindset not to listen to people that are not in the place that I want to be. in general 80% of people will say you are ”mean” for adopting this perspective, but I found it to be quite productive. and it also helps me not waste my time as well as other people’s time. only listen to the people who are where you want to be. it’s that simple.
I learned it is important to not listen to the naysayers, rather those who have proven success. We can learn what has been done that works, and learn from past failures that have been modified, listening to the experienced ones.
“bringing home the bacon or belching bologna.” hahahahahah. Good one Ron. So true about be careful who you are listening too. Everyone has an opinion especially those that are doing nothing with their own life.
For every negative thing you hear, say 5 positive things to yourself. The negative people are jealous of you because there was a change of mind to not accept mediocre. To do better have better, and be better. They would rather have you stay low like them and the rest of the crabs in the barrel.
This is so critical. It is easy to get swept in to other’s ideas, especially early in your journey. Thanks for the reminder to check the fruit on the tree before taking advice!
If u want to go to Disney land , listen to the people who’ve been there .
Killers:
Taking advice from the WRONG people!
Ignore those who belch baloney.
Learn how to get rich
from those who are rich.
Hire attorneys to give legal advice, not advice on how to get rich or to run a business.
Hire CPA’s to give financial advice, not advice on how to get rich or to run a business.
The only friends who know how to get rich are those who are already rich.
Ron Sez:
“The whole world is full of crap!”
If it sounds like crap, it’s probably crap.
Internalize your dreams, not the negative people.
Learn to say, “No!”
Be around people who will pull you up,
not with people who want to drag you down.
Spend time with the Ringmaster.
Avoid the Clown.
as always Ron, great contents.
I love it..emulate the people you want to become. Learn from the people who are successful. Success in spite of failure!!
It’s not often good to be the smartest or wealthiest person in the room.
Thanks Ron, great information.
